Romeo Error 2007

A piece for two dancers an actor and a musician this darkly comic short dance story tells the tale of man being buried alive and the human spirit to not give up when the odds are against you.
"Ellis, lean and wiry, and fellow dancer Pari Naderi neatly embellished his wry, black- humoured text about being buried alive. Wayne Walker- Allen’s live and pre- recorded music was a bonus, although the volume level obscured a quick denouement. Still, I and an appreciative audience got the punchline." (Donald Hutera, 2007)
"Darren Ellis Dance’s ‘Romeo Error’ was a deliciously dry martini. ... rather witty and made a satisfying end to the evening" (Ann Williams, Ballet.co.uk, 2007)
